From Vero, we took a short trip to Fort Pierce City Marina, which is great. I broke my glasses when we left Daytona and I was able to walk into Taylor Creek Opticians, which was 3 blocks away, and get my glasses fixed in about 10 minutes. Amazing. This is a longer story for later. We had scheduled to stay here until next Monday due to the uncertainty of my glasses repair and the upcoming storm and cold spell. What a great little town. We had nice restaurants, a farmers market at the end of the dock on Saturday, and beautiful clear water. While here, I recommissioned my water maker, refilled our propane tank, and more. We also had lunch with Jim and Susan Currie, who were traveling from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Augustine. We hope to come back.
