1/20: We changed our plan this morning to make a run for Nassau, so we left Bimini at 8:20 am and headed out over the Great Bahama Bank. We skipped our usual night at Gun Cay and cut into the bank at Triangle Rock. It was a rather calm beautiful day with flat clear water. We dropped anchor on the bank about 8 miles from the Northwest Providence Channel. We were within a mile of three other boats, so we hoped that increased our visability. The evening was incredibly calm and restful. The evening sky was amazing as you can see from the photos.
