Log05 Rockland and Recovery
Relaxing in Rockland, ME - touring and tasting.
After a long and restful sleep on the boat at Journey's End, Cathy fixed us all a fantastic breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and blueberries.
Newly revitalized, we ventured out into the town of Rockland to explore and reprovision. One of our first stops was Hamilton's Marine Supply, toyland for boaters.
We stopped for lunch of lobster rolls and halibut sandwiches, then toured the Lighthouse Museum, which we highly recommend.
We decided to fix dinner on the boat with all new fresh ingrediance. The cockpit came in handy as a strong thunderstorm rolled through the harbor.
