Maintaining Spinlock clutches

Spinlock XTS removed from the deck

Remove the bolts that hold it together.

Next, start tapping out the lever bar

Pull off the first side. Yow! Very dirty.

Gradually dismantle. Note the wear and corrosion.

Remove the remaining components. Note this is a double clutch.

Completely disassembled and ready for cleaning.

Clean with soup, water, metal polish, and silicon lubricant.

Ready for reassembly.

Put the base plate into one of the side panels

After install of the base plate.

Start building one side of the double clutch

2 cleaned and 2 new Spinlocks with all new lines.
